· This site is controlled by the South Tyneside Early Intervention and Safeguarding Department. You can contact us by clicking here. Find out more about us on our sister website at http://www.southtyneside.info

· The site is intended for use by looked after young people, those with experience of Social Care and Health services and any other young person who may find it of use. They may be within the South Tyneside area of the North East of England or from anywhere else in the UK.

· In particular, please note that the Quizzes, Competitions, Message boards and Real Life Experiences are for use only by young people, and that the Real Life Experiences can only be posted to by looked after young people.

4. Privacy

We take young people’s privacy seriously. We explain how we do that in separate policies for parents and carers and for young people.


5. Intellectual Property

· The copyright, trademarks and logos and other intellectual property rights in the website design and its contents belong to the South Tyneside Early Intervention and Safeguarding or its licensors.

· You may print off information about Social Care and Health or Children’s Rights for reference.

7. Message board and Real Life Experiences

These are for young people’s use only; adults may not use these facilities.

We have set out some “do’s and don’ts” to help keep you safe in our webwise rules. Please read them!

We will screen entries on both and exclude any that do not follow the webwise rules.

If you feel you have a Real Life Experience you would like to share on this site, but do not know how to do that, please contact us using our contact details or by emailing us on ype.newsletter@southtyneside.gov.uk.
