The Web-Page Designers

After several discussions with young people it was agreed that the Leaving Care Service would benefit from having their own part of the DoUCare website, which would be all about the Leaving Care Service.

Donna Johnson one of the young people from Edhill designed the site and was helped by Anthony and David who are also young people from Edhill. The members of staff that helped out were Lee Taylor and Sean Green.

We agreed to meet, at Edhill Avenue, every Thursday afternoon at 1.30-3.30pm for six weeks (it actually took a little longer than this!).

The young people needed to find out what information other young people would like on their Web-page, and to research and gather the information we needed.  The next part of the task was to add all this information to the web pages.

Some information was gathered through questionnaires, which the young people put together, some information was gathered from other sites and the young people themselves wrote some information.
